Saturday February 24th is the Port Aransas Kiwanis Club's 5K Run at Horace Caldwell Pier in Port A. I will be helping with the kids tent with sand castles galore.
Got some more RAYS game pictures to post soon. These will be my last pictures from the old school film cameras. I finally made the big leap to digital cameras thanks to my friend Larry from North Padre Island. Check out his website: http://portanow.com Not much there right now but soon he will have web cams of Port Aransas. Check out the traffic at the ferry before you cross. Check out the ship channel....Port Aransas has a pass and Aransas Pass has a port...go and figure. Will put his link up on my blog soon.
Texas SandFest is next month. Make plans to attend now! This is the most fun event in Texas and you do not want to miss it.
See ya in the sand!!!

Corpus Christi Ice Rays

Stingray Jack and the Port A Sand Guy went to the Ice Rays Game last Saturday night. They lost to the Laredo Bucks ':^( . There is a lot of things to do for entertainment in the Coastal Bend Area (I mean besides Sand Castles). I happened to get my picture taken with a group that is the unofficial ambassadors to Corpus Christi and the Surrounding area, the crush girls. Don't ever tell them you are bored living in Corpus Christi and there is nothing to do. They will prove you wrong.

Great Day in Port A
Driving over the causeway to North Padre Island and seeing the sunbeams dancing on the water made me glad to be a Sand Guy in South Texas. It is truly a blessing to live here and to be able to share the fun of sand with other people.
Got lots coming up in February and March. Check back here for information and pictures.
