Pumpkin Sunday

Just learned that due to high tides the pumpkins in sand for FOOD will be just south of Avenue G and the beach.

Just in from Dee: It is advertised for 2pm-4pm Sunday. bring some non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry. Then You can carve a pumpkin or Jackolantern.

the tide has been coming up very high at the end of Ave G (up to the posts!) which is beach marker 0. He suggests we go a bit south of there, where the beach is wider...so we will be setting up around beach marker 1.

Sand Castle Days 2006

Sand Castle Days was a blast this year. South Padre Island on the Tip of Texas had a herd of Sand Sculptors doing what they do best, have fun! I was with one of my favorite groups, the San Marcos Suns. We built a tribute to Freddy Fender and another crew built the Suns Castle. Next Contest for us will be SandFest in Port Aransas.........Fun in the Sun.

Will post all the pics on my website soon. See them here.

Lessons in the Rain

The weekend of October 14th met some fun people for lessons. In the middle of it all the sky poured out its abundance. Fortunately Ken and Kathy are not fair weather Castle people. Just goes to show you that when you are building castles on the beach every day is a fun day.

Look for all the students of the class of 2006 here soon.
