First Weekend Of The New School Year, Part I

Saw a student from this summer stacking some sand on the way to Popsicle toes today. Got a call for lessons at Port Royal Condominiums what a fun group this was. Thanks for inviting me to play in the sand today!!!!

First Weekend Of The New School Year

Look at this light house!!!!! It is exciting to see students of the Port 'A' Sandcastle Guy going on to taller and better projects. May your sand stand!!!!!! Driving home I saw my students from earlier today still playing in the sand. Look at this sea serpent! Hello Nessy!

My all time favorite dig-to-the-water-table princess tower. Thanks girls, keep up the good work!

This blue heron caught a big meal! Down the hatch! He did swallow the whole thing.











 

Summer is over but Sandcastle Lessons Continue

The summer vacations may be over but Sandcastle lessons continue all year long. Look for the Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy on your next visit to Port 'A'!

Also the book "You Too Can Build A Sandcastle" is now available online at: sandcastlestuff.com Will be at Popsicle Toes in Pelican Landing this afternoon building better sandcastles!

Just want to thank all the families that invited me to play on the beach this summer. It is my wish that you made some great memories in Port Aransas and, that you developed some really fun skills that you will use on family outings in the future. These pictures are of an above ground sandbox placed at Popsicle Toes in Pelican's Landing. I plan to carve various things here during the fall and spring and to promote my new book "You Too Can Build A Sandcastle".

Friday On The Beach

Started the day with a rain shower drive down Mustang Island. This is the view that greeted the first lesson of the day: What a great family. Look at these towers. Once they learned the basics they were quick to catch on to the fun!

This group did a combination dig-to-the-water-table and mix-in-a-bucket stack. What fun.

End of Summer Pictures, Part I

This first lesson was a 2-hour lesson. Great Fun! They even built a great sea serpent to guard the moat. These guys caught on quick. Ta Dahhhh. Thanks for the fun morning on the beach.

This was a great bunch of kids. Very talented. Grandmother forgot the camera so got a few extra pictures. Hope you enjoy them.
