End of Summer
The Tourists are now few and far between. Labor Day looms around the corner waiting for that one last beach fling before kids are back in school and Moms and Dads are back in the office.
I spent the day today getting my online store up and building this castle in a flower box.
Will try to work the bugs out of the store tomorrow and get it posted to my website and the Texas SandFest site tomorrow.
This has been a fun SUMMER and I met a lot of new sandcastle buddies. If you have any beach pictures of Castles you have built after a lesson send them to me at lessons@sandrum.com and I will post them here on my blog.

Sunday Morning Castle
This group of kids all worked together to make a great Castle.When you work together great Castles are built.
Team Work In Corpus Christi Part I
This group came to Corpus Christi for A Team Building exercise. The sand in Corpus Christi isn't made for Sandcastles so I brought sand in from Padre Island and we had make shift castle building in Flower boxes. I took some pictures of Corpus Christi while I waited for the group. I sometimes forget what a beautiful water front we have here in Corpus Christi.
Changes in Latitude. Snowmen creatively decorated with beach litter.......they took the pledge to Unlitter......

Another Fun Group From Oklahoma
I am convinced that people from Oklahoma are just natural beach people. Why don't they have a beach of their own? This group caught on quick and would make a fun group to build with in a contest. Excited about sand! That is what it takes to be a Sandcastler.
This group of pictures came out great. This is the best I have seen the beach in a long time. It don't get better than this!
I will show the full shots on the lesson page I post on my website after Tourist season. These came out great and the boys and their Mom show the fun people have on our beaches in Port Aransas. Hope to see this team more at contest and advanced lessons, they are a fun bunch!Vacation Pictures
Great!!!! Thanks for sending your Vacation Photos in. This Mom and Son team came out this summer for a Sandcastle lesson while Father was out fishing.
