Castles and Rain
Started the day with these fun ladys. On vacation and on the beach. Look out world they are building Sandcastles now. Would of loved to spend more time with this group. 
The Pilfered Brothers build another castle. Jon brought the rain...... check out Cinnamon Shore.

You Meet The Funest People On The Beach
Just for fun sandcastle:
Two Guys I met on the beach. Found out my friend Katsy saw them earlier in the week and gave them some pointers and some tools. Hope they come back and SANDFEST with us in 2009 .
Man! Another great family from Oklahoma. People from Oklahoma are just great. They are just made for the beach. Look at this castle.
Another evening castle. These are my favorite. Just ending the day building a sandcastle is the greatest! These two had talent running out the wazoooooooo!
Want to thank all the fun people for having me on their vacation schedule. You guys are awesome.
The birds were having a feeding frenzy as I drove home down the beach.

A family from Oklahoma carved this fantastic castle, complete with arches....Q-well.

Today was such a great day for Sandcastles, many pictures were taken. Had to add this extra post just to get them all in. These kids all stayed at the Dunes and joined the Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy on the BEACH. What Fun.jpg)

Beautiful Day
Today I realized how great this business is. Three different families and they were all so much fun. Getting a chance to see these fine folks work together to build a beautiful castle in the sand is a wonderful experience.

What A Fun Day!!!!
It started out with Tristan's Birthday Party. These boys built a castle with lots of soldier's towers. Fun Group.
Then a wild bunch of Texans. I think these guys are hooked on sandcastles now.
This group took lessons last year and took advantage of Captain Steve's lessons at Horace Caldwell Pier this year. Then saw me drive down the beach called and asked for an evening castle lesson. Look at that arch!!!!!! They like to try everything they learned to make a super castle.
This was a real fun day!

The Boys above were very creative and loads of fun. Another evening castle...my favorite.
Chandler Castle with Horace Caldwell Pier in the background. This was a lesson in front of the Dunes condominiums.

The group above had a birthday party on the beach. This fun group had lessons last year during a rain storm in Port A and the ground was so saturated the castle kept melting into the ground. This year we did the pound up in a spring shower. It was really kinda fun playing on the beach, in the sand, in the rain. I want this group to enter sandfest next year....they are "San Marcos Suns" fun.... that is a great rating....

Lessons Pictures

Here are some pictures of Sandcastle builders from today. A group of friends and a father built this in front of Coral Cay in Port Aransas, Texas.
This Fort Worth family built a castle at beach marker 98. Wanted to stay with them a little longer but time would not permit. They were very creative students.
These boys and little girl joined together for lessons on the beach at Port Royal Condominiums.

Camera News
Could not get my new (3 month old) camera traded for a new one and didn't want to send it in for repairs a second time so I bought a new one. Now a very pretty Kodak camera that is absolutely worthless to hang in my trophy case. Any who got a nice Canon that I took the following picture out on the beach by the Port Royal Condos.
The Port A Sandcastle Guy will be on the Beach from 10:00am to 12:00pm for a two hour lesson for the guests at the Port Royal Condominiums tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18Th, 2008.
The lesson pictures taken with the disposable camera could be up tomorrow or the next day. Keep checking my blog to see your masterpiece in SAND!
