Halloween Island Style
Every year the city parks department has a sand pumpkin patch to raise funds and food for our local food pantry. The weather this year kept trying to shut us down. We kept pretending it wasn't going to shut us down. Ended up with a quick centerpiece and lots of people carving jack-o-lanterns out of the sand pumpkins.
Port Royal lessons today were great fun.

Unusual Day
Started the day with an early surprise, Halloween cupcakes.
Birds were in mating season on the beach.
Rain delay kept me from carving tonight. Got stacked up.

Fantastic Fun Today
With all the rain and flooding, there was a brief opening of perfect beach.
A sandy friend invited me out to build a birthday castle for a friend of hers. He even jumped in and built his own, actually an octopus with stairs.

Arty Day
Sandcastle lessons today with a group of artists at Beachgate Condominiums. Before the lesson they invited me to take a painting class with them. What fun. My first painting.

Beautiful October Day
On the Beach RV was the site for today's lesson. All the way from Oklahoma to build a sandcastle and splash in the waves.
