Labor Day Weekend 2014

Started at Beach Marker 16.

A second lesson for this group. Great castle.

Quiet Little Beach

Not many people on the beach at Cinnamon Shore today. The family from Monday did not show up to play. Had lots of families come by to watch but, none to build.

I picked up trash washed up by the front that came in, enough to fill a five-gallon bucket with. Chased down some umbrellas caught by the wind and heading down the road into the dunes. Then built a sand castle to entertain the few folks on the beach.

Summer comes to a close and we wait for Labor Day Weekend.

Padre Island National Seashore

What better place for a birthday party than the National Seashore. It was a beautiful morning and the students were talented.

The girls in the group had a lesson at the National Seashore a few weeks ago and were really talented. They learned a few new things and created this super castle.

Thank you for the fun day.

When I got into cell phone range I found my 1 p.m. lesson had canceled. I wish I had known I would of stayed and played a little longer.
