This is what I love: 55°, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and these guys still want to play in the sand. They have had two lessons, spent the last three days playing in the sand and, they still want to learn more about sand-sculpting. They are welcome on Mustang Island anytime they want to come.
They built a sea-serpent, a partial turtle, an advanced castle and, a brick walkway.

Before the lesson I got some pictures of the locals hanging on the beach. Northerly winds were blowing the seaspray back out to sea.
