Food Bank Pumpkin Patch
This pumpkin patch sprouted out at Avenue G and the beach. Where for a donation of food or money to the food bank you could carve a pumpkin or jack-o-lantern in sand. Here are a few shots of the patch :

2007 Sand Castle Days
I worked with a group from the San Marcos Suns headed up by Arron Baker. It was a Cypress Stump along the San Marcos River. The title was "Life Is Too Short" We won First Place in the Adult Team category.
Below is from Left to right: Mark Landrum, Kristie and Jon Woodworth. We were all wearing our Sand In The City Shirts that day and won first place medals. Kristie and Jon were in the Texas State Champions. Jon is known as Sand Dad!
Will get the photos up soon. I took a lot of pictures of the Amateurs and Kids division so all my students can get ideas for when they compete at SandFest next year.

Sand Castle Days 2008
The 20th Annual Sand Castle Days is this Weekend. October 18th - 21st will find the Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy in South Padre Island. It will be at the Sheraton South Padre Isaland Beach Hotel and Condominiums. Come out and join the fun.
